It is intended for control of the heat carrier flow in the heating systems while preserving the continuous rate of the flow. The required system temperature is achieved by feeding up of the necessary amount of liquid from the return pipe of the boiler.

It is applied if necessary to increase the temperature of the heat carrier supplied to the boiler from the return pipeline (e.g.) for solid-fuel boilers.
The valve operates according to the double bypass principle allowing to a portion of the hot heat carrier supplied from the boiler to be immediately admixed to the return pipeline with bypassing the heat transfer circuits. This decreases the risk of low-temperature corrosion of the boiler thus extending its service life.
